I would venture a no, keep it as it is. The reflection is the subject, so why move it off balance. For some reason I always want to turn images like this around 90 degrees.
However, the mirror reflection is NOT exactly a "flip" of the object. At a distance, as here, it's near-enough. However, the reflection represents a perspective of the trees, etc., from water level. A reflection of a pier from close up will show some of the underside of that pier, even taken from a facing pier equally high above the water. Some artificial "mirror" images done by flipping just don't look right for this reason. And so, some reflection images will NOT be very symmetrical about the horizontal axis.
This reminds me of the Dutch Golden Century - Ruysdael and others. In your blood? ;-) Lovely image! You get an oil-painting-like effect. You've posted some very fine images in a very short time, Marius!
Thank you Chris... i have yet a lot to learn from as i dint study art but since I spent the last 30y on engineering and product design - im trying to use design principles to get the compositions / mood correct - of anything- im not a photoshop guru and dont want to focus on one specific genre.. so my body of work may still look like a fruitcake to some :)
