I like the image; the composition and pastels.

My only CC would be to bring down the greens in the shadows. Right now they are blowing out a little, and are on the boarder of going neon. I may even shift the greens more towards the yellow/orange side of the spectrum. Just a minor adjustment that would bring this photo up another step.

Thank you Joe appreciate the input

I like this one, Marius! Good composition, and good job all round, for my tastes. Wouldn't change anything, not always the case!

The amount of processing an image requires can depend heavily on the original RAW, and on your creative intent. This may not always be for "photographic" reality, or "straight" photography. There are certainly many images with high levels of colour saturation which don't appeal to me and thus look "over-processed", but appeal to plenty of other people who I assume simply have tastes different to mine. The default Nikon in-camera jpegs are over-saturated for me.

In this image, to my eye, you get a nice, shimmering effect evocative of the Impressionists. I think this is partly due to the fairly saturated areas in the water and sky. And I think the greens would look wishy-washy against that if they were weak. I really can't see the issue Joe is referring to. Different screens giving different impressions?

It very well could be, my monitor (though corrected) is from like 2008.. :)

The green on the plants is my only CC, otherwise I feel it is a great image and also agree with Chris completely.

If no one else sees it, then it is my monitor.. haha :)

This is a beautiful picture. I agree with Joe that the green is very slightly jarring, but I did not even think of it before reading his comment.
I hope that you have already printed it and placed it on your wall at home.

Thank you Arthur . Yes i did print it and was on displayed in a politician’s office for a few months. But thanks to a forum like this with real experts im learning at the speed of white light
