Fall in the Colorado Rockies

A photo I took this year of the beautiful fall colors in Southwest Colorado during a sunrise.

Very nice. I think the clouds slightly muddy the distinction of the mountaintops, but it’s still a nice scene.

What a lovely view! I agree with you Phillip; maybe edit by creating more presence in the mountains versus the sky. Also, there's a little orange sprig from the top of a tree in the bottom right that keeps grabbing my attention and pulling it downward. .. perhaps it could be cloned out?

Lovely depth and subject matter!

Lovely shot and incredible view. I have no further CC over what the others have mentioned.

I'm 50/50 on the sprig, I like it but it dose draw the eye down.

I feel like I travel the world and meet new people thanks to wonderful shots like these being shared. I like the warmth of the fauna contrasted with the snowy peaks.i am not yet at the stage where I would have noticed the clouds but I can see the point made, I guess n the digital age we can take multiple shots of a single scene as the clouds pass and select the best. Thanks.

Nice job, Nick. Must have been good to be there and see that. I think Phillip and Alison make some valid CC. Is this any better?

Although I like that there is more contrast in the foreground and midground, yet overall to me this seems like a complete overkill. The peaks are now partly too bright (especially on the right) and the image seems slightly oversaturated. I'd selectively edit the mountains and the sky to maintain some of that lovely soft atmosphere and soft light on the peaks. Though, I must add, it is most likely a matter of personal taste.
