Hi,
I spent a week on the Lofoten Islands in September and spent quite a lot of time on the Uttakleiv beach.
We came back the second day for the sunrise, and I captured this shot with the camera very low, close to the water. I like the contrast between the steady mountains and the flowing water. Waiting for the sunlight to slowly come from the side was also particularly exciting.

Yes, I agree with you about the contrast between flowing water and mountain, Charlie. Also, the sun catching just the distant mountain creates a powerful contrast with the cool foreground. Well done!
Perhaps you could bring out a little detail in the dark rocks without losing too much of that contrast. But the balance is a question of taste.
