Fall

Fall colors in Toronto. Please critique, what can be done to improve the image. Second image has blue reduced and pixel surgery done to remove buildings. Third image is from different vintage point. Best wishes.

I love this, great colors, I wish you could've included more buildings, or no buildings, just to balance the image a little more. But this is still a great image

Thank you Jeff. I have been working on this image for few months. Second image has pixel surgery done :)

I like the comp on this image. I used Topaz filter in Photoshop, used the haze filter to bring up the saturation and it really helped the sky also. Also added a slight vignette and slight sharpening and liked the results. If you don't mind I'll try to add it to this post. It may be too overboard, I just enjoy PP.

Thanks Orv. There is always temptation in fall color images to increase the saturation :) I had processed both original images in Nik to preserve the subtle tones in sky and color variations in foreground. A bit of personal preference which image has more appeal.

The change in sky color is amazing, Orv. Cool edit.

Hi Sandeep, Third image appealed the most to me. realising that F-stopper engines reduces the quality in (so called) thumbnails. seeing the 3rd one at enlarged format appreciates it even more. However, I feel this frame could lead to even better stories. Being novice, unable precisely figure it out. Good work. cheers.

Thanks Vijay. It also takes me a while to understand my own photos... how to process, how to crop, what defects to remove and so on. These were shot in October and I am still processing them :) Much appreciate your comments.
