A rare thick blanket of snow fell in Joshua Tree National Park during Christmas. I could not pass up the opportunity to go photograph some of the scenery this past Saturday, 12/28. The Moon and Venus conjunction was captured as well.
X-T2 and 10-24mm
Thanks for going out there for the snow. Beautiful image! We visited there once during the summer and loved it then. Have you stopped at "Frontier Town" just a few miles from there? Lots of movies shot there.
Not sure if "Frontier" town is a previous name, but, they go by "Pioneer" town now.
Pioneer is the correct name, It's been a while. :-)
Dang! Nice! I did not think it snowed there!
