Evening Harbor Fog, Photo Critique

I took this shot while up in Maine this past summer. This was taken as the sea fog started to roll in the harbor engulfing the boats.

It's a nice, moody image, Daniel, and the horizontal crop works well. Also, the slight boat movement during the exposure adds to the watery atmosphere.

I think the two closer boats straddling the midline of the image more or less symmetrically creates an unsettling competition rather than a harmony or flow. I'd be inclined to feature just one of them. Here's a rough edit, focusing purely on composition. It's pretty rough, but I hope conveys my meaning.
