Rift

Here's a more unique perspective of a gnarly tree along the west coast of Vancouver Island. I find shooting trees as a primary subject is the hardest type of landscape photography as it's tricky to get a clean image without a bunch of clutter.
No epic story with this shot, just a simple focus stacked image taken during golden hour. Hope you enjoy and Happy New Years!

This is beautiful and I love the sun making its way through the trees.

Hi Eric. Good composition.

I really like this one a lot. The tree looks 3 dimensional and almost like something out of a videogame. The processing is really excellent -- not overdone, but clearly work went in to this. Very nice soft light. The only thing I'd consider changing is bringing out the small leafy branch -- to me that is one of the main subjects of the image, along with the sun.

Amazing composition and light

i like this one. the trees to the right of the main subject looks great.
