Hi All,
I don't normally do landscapes but I am always interested in trying new things. I do tend to like dark and moody images though so when I went for a sunrise this morning, it is no surprise that I came back with more "pre-sunrise" than the full-blown one! One question (of many!) is this: I couldn't seem to get away from the bright line of overexposed cloud edge right in front of the sun area. That edge showed up regardless of how I played with my settings. Not sure what to do about that. Anyway - feedback always welcome!
Hi Ruth, I'm sorry but your image is too dark, and we dont see more then the clouds... What was your settings ? I sugest to do a braketing when you have this kind of high diference between the sky and the ground.
I thought it might be. Thanks for the input Fabrice!
I agree, the image is underexposed. However, it might be a pretty cool shot with a crop around the clouds and sun, focusing solely on the lighter areas of the image. I think the clouds were your focus anyway, so why not showcase them more?
Ok Derek! Thanks for the suggestion!
