I have a friend who was camping in Needles but was unaware of this masterpiece. I would like to go in with him. Two questions. What time of the year did you guys do this and on a scale of 1-10 how would you rate the difficulty of the hike?
just to be on the cautious side, my level of difficulty and your level of difficulty might be totally different. We went in October of last year. I would rate this as about a 6 with a backpack on.
Hell of a hike in I'm told...nice shot! Definitely on my list
thanks Mark, It is this is day 2. We camped about 2 miles away and it felt like 5 or 6 before we got there. Well worth the hike in.
