Snowy ridge walk

I’ve just come back from a skiing holiday in Chamonix. This was taken on top of Mont Blanc at -5 degrees. A few were even attempting the slopes at this beautiful spot.. not me!
I really wanted to capture the contrast of the shadow and highlights at this point, hopefully It’s turned out okay!?

Nice image, Mark! You captured the patterns in the snow nicely, and there are many layers, which I always like. Though I must say, I'd also be interested to see some of the terrain above the current composition. The line just leads me right to it, and it looks like there are some more good layers and warm toned rock walls. But, it also works as is, leaving a bit of mystery.

Also, that is a lot of people!

Thank you very much, Yurily, very kind comments 😊👍
You are indeed correct, the original image (before I went for this crop) did show the peek a little more and the warmer tones, but not by much, my main aim was to just get the contrasting tones of either side of the ridge. Totally understand what you mean though and thank you for noticing 👍
