What a pretty bugger. Do you know what kind of butterfly that is?
The first of the three shots is the most interesting of the three as the butterfly gets pretty lost due to how small it is in the other two shots.
I like how close up the butterfly is in the first shot. The background is a little busy though, including a dark shadow at the bottom of his wings (again, in the background). The shot may have been better if you could have taken it from a slightly different angle that would have placed the butterfly where there was more open sky.
There's also a lot of empty space to the right of the butter fly past the leaf that's not doing a lot to help the photo, so you could try cropping it even tighter perhaps.
I think the third shot could be my favorite if you were as close to the butterfly as you were in the first shot. It's a great angle, the little buds are pretty and it's nice to see the butterfly's wings open like that. It's just a bit far away.
