This past fall a friend and I decided to head to our favourite lake to watch the sunrise. It was the first sub zero night of the season which lead to a blanked of fog covering the lake. When we arrived you could barely make out the tree despite it being only about 20 meters from the shore. As the morning continued to grow brighter the visibility also became clearer. Here is a series of photos I shot throughout that morning, starting at blue hour and continuing through until sunrise.
Vancouver Island, BC... Fairy Bonsai near Port Renfrew?
Yep!
I think I watched a YouTube video by a well know photographer of this location.
EDIT: Not to say you're not a well know photographer!
Nice images. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! It was probably either Adam Gibbs or Gavin Hardcastle. Those two guys both live here and are very relevant in the Photography side of Youtube.
Mr. Grumpy.
These are beautiful! The first and second are my favorite. I honestly think I passed by this location once, on an exploratory drive through the island, without realizing the full potential of it.
