This image of Lofoten best represents how I had imagined Norway to be like before actually visiting. I had imagined - Ice capped mountains, Artic blue seas and amazing Sunsets !
This is a recent edit and I seem to be drifting towards a darker moodier look in my post processing. Would love to hear from the community on what works and doesn't .....
Very nice! I love the subtle, subdued tones and darker mood. It might be too dark for some people, but don't let that deter you if that's your creative vision. At the same time, I would consider bumping the shadows ever so slightly, or perhaps dodging some of the areas of interest/where the light is hitting a little bit more just to see if you like the result. The latter might be better to help keep the overall dark mood. Looking at your other images, this is consistent with the style you have (which I like quite a bit!) but just a little darker and flatter. But, this is a great image and if you decide make changes I would keep them subtle :)
Beautifully done! I'd prefer to see it with the exposure opened up by 1/2 - 2/3 stop, but there's nothing wrong with this shot as it is. The composition is very well done!
Like the others said, I think it could do being ever so slightly brighter, the shadows seem a bit dark. Its got this soft and dreamy sort of look that looks excellent though, and I believe a slightly brighter image would reveal the detail a bit more!
