I'm a little torn on this one. I appreciate what you are capturing and the light coming across the scene. I want to say it is too balanced without a primary subject, but that was also the thought behind this style of photo. My only CC would be to, perhaps, try to soften the image a little, slight contrast softening, perhaps a glow or Orton effect. Just tossing ideas out as they would say, just my opinion of course.

When taking flower shots I try to get as low as I can with most of the time the camera laying on the ground (if the flowers are short like these). I try to think of flowers like bird shots, if that makes sense. You get to play with depth of field a little too, which is fun.

Here are two flower shots I took recently as an example. Both are still works in progress... But just showing the example of lowering the camera angle.

Again, just all my thoughts, nothing more. :)

I think if you're shooting at an overhead angle, you need more flowers in the scene. Ideally, you would want the flowers to take up the entire area creating a pattern. Or you can also shoot low like Joe said.
