Why would portrait have been better? This looks pretty good. The only thing I see is the need to bring up shadows and such. But, that's just a post thing.
I thought less wide and a little higher would be a better format. Thank you.

Yes, not bad at all. I would have suggested giving the bottom a little more room so the building at left and associated structures in front of it were not sitting on the bottom of the frame. And a little more room between the building and the left edge of the frame too. Quite acceptable for a first pano.
Thank you so much for your feedback. To the left of the building were cars and I did not want them on the photo and at the bottom is a road. But I'll go back and try some more.
