Beautiful, beautiful work, Stanley! An outstanding, poetic, painterly image. I love it - a composition of rare excellence, the warm tones, everything!. Great effort.
Beautiful shot! I think I often see cooler tones and longer exposures from this location, and yours is a welcome departure. I'm trying to decide whether I think the negative space on the right would work well on it's own, or if it would feel a bit empty, but either way the duck really helps to balance the composition out. No criticism here--very well done!
Hi Josh, great thanks of your valuable comments. Yes, I agreed that it feels a bit empty on the right of the directional light source, however, I managed to wait for the duck to fill this empty space to get it balanced. Once again, thanks you and have a nice day!
great work! beautiful picture!

Fantastic photo!
It's so sad what happened to that tree, some people have no respect for nature :(
Where someone cut the bottom branch off with a saw; pretty sure it was this tree.
yes, pretty sad to hear that news. I was lucky to capture the scene before they cut the bottom branch off.
Great shot again. Sky is different everyday in Wanaka.
