Taken at about 6 in the morning along California's coast. A hazy glow is on the horizon, slightly lit up with faint orange tint before the sun actually peeks over the mountains. The rocks of the reef are covered in sea moss and mussel shells, and lay still and quiet and cool to the touch before the warmth of the sun can reach it. Small waves are breaking further off the coast, but these small tide pools are undisturbed as they are protected by the rocks. Definitely worth it to wake up this early to see this area without any other person in sight for a while. 11mm, f/10, 10 seconds, ISO 100
beautiful picture!
Thanks a ton!
Nice. A little hot around the approaching sun, though. Maybe a gradient mask could help with that?
