Good Evening;
I volunteer at a state park and was horrified to hear the Park Manager rant about unscrupulous pro photographers damaging plants (stomping/breaking, etc.) in garden beds to get better shots of other plants. What is worse, she was instructing the rangers to not confront the evil-doers! ( a ranger who had was told to "F-off" by the shooter) She explained it is part of being a public place. I learned there is no policy for removing destructive/disruptive visitors.
Does anyone know of a "Professional Ethics Creed" for photographers that I could propose the park present upon entering the gate? I assume something along the line of "leave only footprints" and "do not disturb the wild-life".
Thanks!
that is taken for granted by most "respect the environment", change policy
