I made this picture yesterday during the sunset . Just had to take a picture when I saw the clouds.
But the problem that I get in post processing is that file looks good in lightroom but when exported to jpg it looses somewhat in dynamic range (tried with quality 80 and 90)
Also the picture looks a lot darker, even worse, when I open it on a phone it is very dark. So I have to add approx. +0.5 to exposure and change other setting before exporting. (my monitor is calibrated and brightness is set around 30%) Do you have similar problem? How do you solve it?
Also any feedback to the composition and processing is welcomed.
I like you composition and framing.
Here's my take on it with a little editing in PS. Boost brightness slightly, add more contrast, bring down highlights some, boost color a little and try not to get it too hot. Saturation will vary among monitors and phones. And I cropped it a bit to remove the trees at the bottom. I think they are a distraction from your subject but I left a little to frame the shot and cloned out the two very small sections left in the middle.
I think your monitor is set too dark.
Just my take on how I would do it. You may or may not like. Others may or may not like. Either way, all feedback is good unless people get insulting. ;-)
