I'm primarily a studio portrait photographer, but recently I've turned my attention towards doing landscapes while my studio space is closed. These are from a recent drive to Detroit, and were all shot from a moving car as we journey down a rural highway.
I like the retro feel of these. The first image is my favorite. It has a great story component. It feels like a dust bowl era documentary shot and mean this as a compliment. I think you should continue trying more subjects even after we are able to go out! You have a great eye. I'd just suggest pulling over next time! You have great stuff to work with!
Thanks for the kind words Ruth! That first image is definitely my favorite for the exact reason you said. I plan on doing a lot more landscape/street work in the future. Love playing outside my comfort zone!
