Looking east into the full glare of the mid-morning sun in early October. I had been in Las Vegas for a trade show and decided to rent a car and take a two-day road trip traversing Death Valley and returning through the Mojave National Preserve (desert). This was a great time for the trip as the weather was brilliant, temps were mild (relatively) and best of all, pretty much all of the tourists had all gone home.
I shot this with my Sony A99 / 70-300mm lens set down directly on the pavement
It's interesting how the perspective on the road changes.
I've been imaging how it would look if more images were made from various distances perpendicular to the road from the right.
