This is my first successful image of lightning, that wasn’t taken through the window!
I spent almost 2 hours running around all sides of this local folly trying to predict a lightning strike behind the castle, eventually ending up with this, though not before me and the camera was completely soaked through!
It’s two bracketed images from the same point, one at iso3200 to light the foreground with the lightning flash, and one at iso400 to avoid burning out the sky.
CC is welcome, though I’m content enough with the image to not spend 2 hours soaking and freezing in the rain to repeat it again!
