Nice atmosphere you capture here, Stanley, with those shadows from the nearly-horizontal sun really adding a quiet drama to the scene. The mood and warm tones reflect your signature "look" to me.
At first, I thought the foreground brown water almost killed the shot, as we (!?) expect water to look more appealingly blue or green. Now, I'm not so sure. Maybe I'd crop a bit more out.
I do love the tranquility and sense of endless space this image evokes.
Hi Chris, thanks for the comments. The lake was not so blue or green as I thought. The warm color tone on the surface was the light reflection and I reduced in highlight tone in post-processing.
