Took this photo last year, went on a hike through garabaldi ended up setting up camp in an alpine tundra area (very exposed little to no trees, ended up taking multiple shot's (this was before I understood what made a strong composition). The more I learn how to edit, I can find myself making something out of the shot but also learning where I made a mistake. The first image was the first edit I ever made of this photo while the 2nd is the most recent one. I was lucky that I always stuck around and took photos of the stars etc in the area, and as I've learned to blend images I've been getting better results. I do have a few more shots in the area that I can work on but any feedback is always greatly appreciated. I do still plan on returning to the area this year, I've never seen such beautiful purples, reds, and yellows during a sunset, hopefully this year I can really capture something much more spectacular.
