Framing Glacier 16x9 (First time using free transform)

Glacier National Park, shot from across from Lake McDonald at morning to midday. This was my first time using the free transform feature in photoshop. After watching a Max Rive tutorial I learned to use free transform to accentuate the size of the subject. Since this was shot on an ultrawide lens to encompass the framing elements, the unfortunate consequence was that the mountain appeared smaller than in person (as it is so far away). To remedy this, I've used some free transform touching up in photoshop to squeeze this into a 16x9 and essentially enlarge the center of the image.

What do you think? Did it turn out okay?

I've actually added a second edit I've done after looking at it for a while and noticing some things I wanted changed. Which do you prefer?

Beautiful shot. I like the second one most.

Thanks so much, I think I prefer the second one as well.
