I got a couple of images from a recent trip to the Blue Ridge mountains that I’m pretty happy with. I’d like some feedback and CC on what I can improve.
They all look great. I am not sure if you cropped the second image as well. Perhaps I would crop some on the left side but I am not sure you can do that given the lay of the frame. But some of it distracts me.
Nice shots, Stephen. Some brief CC:
#1: I like the waterfall, itself. For me however, the overall scene is a little flat. Foreground element or some sort of progression may help.
#2: Nice colors and exposure. Biggest critique is the stream/falls take my eyes up to a dark patch of leaves and rocks. Don't know what you could have done compositionally here, so it might just be the setting.
#3: Dig this one a lot. Depending on where you want the viewer to focus e.g. mountain light / horizon, may need to play around with the crop as it is bottom heavy.

Hope this helps.

very nice. I really like the last one with the fog and all of the depth in the mountains
