The Perkiomen Watershed Conservatory does a stream cleanup every year and last weekend they got around to the wetlands behind my house (although they could not get all the way back to the Perkiomen Creek due to ongoing sewer construction.) The trash pile at the end of the access road required at least three pickup trucks to haul it away.
