Nice! I think I prefer the bottom one... did you use a polarising filter? I find the reflections ainda the water a bit distracting...
Cheers! I did use a polarizer. It's somewhat of an odd kind of reflection too and admittedly a bit distracting to me as well. Not sure what happened. I even blended in another layer for the water where I reduced its texture in attempt to soften the effect.
the crop made a huge difference. it takes the focus off of the foreground and puts it on the waterfall and sky. the one thing that I find distracting is the purple in the rocks around the falls.
Thanks for the feedback! Completely agree with how different the look is. I like how the shape of the falls mimics the shape of the orange clouds too. Personally I like the purple contrasting with the orange leaves, but the rocks are that color so its hard for me to want to change that
