The break of dawn over the Fitz Roy massif is one of the most impressive sights I have ever seen. This particular morning Bryce Mironuck and I hiked a short but grueling hike up to Lago de Los Tres in the dark to see the light show up close and personal. Wow, what an incredible mountain. Once the alpenglow finished, I moved location and came to this ridge which overlooked both Lago de Los Tres (on the right) and Laguna Sucia (on the left). I envisioned this shot well before we started our expedition down in Patagonia as it provides a more "rare" shot of Fitz Roy mountain from this location, even though the more commonly shot location still leaves people in awe. Wow, what an incredible place.
I'm totally in love with your work but I really dislike that amount of glow in the photo. Also for this one I'm kinda sad that there is a big dark rock (totally in shadow) as the centre of the image and then the 1/3 lower again dark boring rocks. Again I love your work and the Windswept images totally blow my mind.
