Interesting and appealing image for my tastes, Trevor. That grazing light on the forest at bottom is fantastic! It complements the hazy remainder of the image. I'd have zoomed in on it as well to highlight it more in other images. Dunno about embracing fads as such... a bit much of that around here. The light, hazy effect works here for me, in part because of the contrast against the dark forest.
Thanks Chris! Yes, I don't mean to generally "embrace the fad" I just mean that I'm seeing these sorts of overexposed images more and more, especially on Instagram. In the case for this edit, I think it actually works due to the conditions. It provides some extra separation of the depth of the layers and is much more appealing I think that a bland cloudless blue sky.
