Wow, there is a lot to like about this photo, and I do like it.
I do think that if the composition could have been changed to have the 50% of the standing water reflecting the rock reflecting the sky instead it could be a more compelling shot as I find the rock reflection too much of a distraction and unbalancing the frame.
Hi John, I feel like the sky is great, you really feel that brooding storm. I went to Arches and Canyonlands during that type of weather and it reminds me of it. But the foreground is a bit weak in this picture, nothing of interest is really reflecting in the pool, and it's a bit too complex, distracting from that great sky.
thanks Peter and Nick, I can see what you mean about the rock not providing enough interest for the rest of the shot. One of those things where I was in the moment and not really working what was the best composition. One of my bad habits, I see I shoot I move on. In this case it was coffee and breakfast before it started raining. Thanks for your comments
Hi, it is a really nice place, when I saw the image I thought about moving left and pinting more to the right, trying to give more space to the valley and maybe cut half of the big wall area. I agree with the comments already made. Cheers from Chile!!

The colors and depth presented are wonderful!
