As I was driving along the road I thought this tree could make for an interesting minimalist type image with some sepia tones. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Hi Mark, my tastes run towards the more zen like ultra minimalist images so this one, though interesting, is still a bit too busy for me.

Mike
Hi Mark! Good idea to make this centered approach with the tall tree. I like the low position to view on the center of interest.
For a minimal approach for my perception the fence right hand side and the trees on the left are distracting a bit. And the tree is cut half way of it's length by the hills in the background.
The place would be interesting with fog & fresh new snow to isolate the tree & maybe to guide the viewer by the fence.
Thanks for the feed back, I took some clarity and texture from the snow and went with a bit more sepia tones. I may play with removing the fence. You are right, it would have to be fresher snow and more fog to really isolate it, but I think I want to keep some "truth' to the scene and not just photoshop everything away.
Unfortunately it is not a scene I can easily return to since I was up in Oregon on a work trip.

Is centering the tree the best way to go or should it perhaps a bit more right (or left)? Rule of Thirds? In this case, you'd need to crop the picture and use a different aspect ratio.
