So, I took this shot, and you can see (shot A) that there are a bunch of branches that were in the way of the shot, so I inpainted them out as best I could ( I use affinity photo for editing). So I have two questions: Is the inpainting job i did effective enough, and second, is it even worthwhile ?
Looks better without the tree and the shadows of limbs. There is a bit of 'smudginess' near the pole on the left and just under the cloud on the very right but I know nothing about affinity photo and how easy or hard it is to paint/clone over areas. Interesting, though.
Ya, I could clean it up a little more, trying to take care of some of those smudges. It was an awful amount to try and inpaint. I'm not a pro, so I'm still learning how to affectively use the Affinity Photo. I'm sure that I would have the same learning curve using lightroom.
I know, I don't always find it easy using the clone stamp tool in Photoshop.
Hi Mark, Certainly its better without distracting branches. the shadow area shows the smudges.
Cheers
