On valentines day we hiked. My wife and I love hiking the mountains of northern Utah any time of the year. We made our way to the Ogden Waterfall trailhead around 8 and started our assault on the summit. It was not easy! We had to trudge through fresh snow, flakes occasionally falling out of the air even as we hiked. But the beautiful thing was the lack of people and after finally arriving, we were alone for at least 20-30 minutes. The waterfall was frozen solid which really added to the visuals. Finally, the boss was ready to go but as we started back down, the skies cracked and sunlight struck the top of the mountain with soft puffy clouds between. Glorious and we truly enjoyed...the grandeur of winter.
Working the grey scale like a BOSS!
Cheers Darin!
