Hello. I recently took this in my front yard. I am not super sure what type of tree this is, any input would be appreciated. Furthermore, any input on the photos is welcomed. Thanks!
No idea about the plant! I like this image, Chloe - the wintry feel, the selective focus and how you've made the tip central but with an interesting, dynamic composition.
It's hard to tell with the resolution on FS, but that tip would ideally be REALLY crisp and sharp.
I'd be tempted to make the whole image a bit brighter, but it depends what mood you were trying to convey. To me, it's an uplifting image of life and regeneration, so making it lighter creates an effect of the sun being out, or at least not heavily overcast conditions. This is a tiny bit sombre.
Chris. In my personal image it is much sharper, but because I am likely going to add this to my website, I brought the resolution down so I wouldn't have to take up extra space on my Google Drive with two images. I hadn't thought about bringing the brightness up, but I will definitely look into that. Thanks!
