Snow mountain

Sunday we climbed/hiked Malan's Peak in Ogden for the first time. This is a fairly "robust" hike with an elevation gain of just over 2000 feet and is rated difficult/hard. 10 minutes into the hike you are going up, up, and up! 20 minutes into the hike and I'm standing on a knifes edge, a thin point covered in snow and ice which my wife crossed over easily. However I paused to consider my options; attempt to cross over, slip and tumble down the mountain to a horrifying death or stay put and call it a day. Along comes a young woman and she tells us "This is as bad as it gets. If he can cross over here, the rest of the hike is fine." I cross. Shortly up the path you are walking along the edge with spectacular and horrifying views but I handle it.
The image you see was taken AFTER we were making our way back from the peak. The clouds lifted and the most beautiful, radiant light emerged creating sights that stunned us into gaping awe...snow mountain.
