I'm increasingly finding myself taking only my iPhone on hikes (vs even Nikon 1) and so looking for options for holding it. I think ideally a holder + adjustment head of some sort (ball or other) + 1/4-20.
The RRS clamp + pocket stand may be the best option (though $$$) and could work w/ a very light tripod or light stand and could also mount on any of my RRS/Arca heads so lots of versatility.
Joby (Gorilla Pod Mobile Rig) is a def contender. It appears to be somewhat limited adjustment though.
Other good options?
I'm also kind of thinking that maybe a Gopro or some other small camera might be a better option and provide other capabilities but my wife thinks I spend too much on cameras and lenses already so...
