As the weather melts away the winter snow and ice to takes us head first into spring. It's hard to believe, two weeks ago we were seeing daytime highs in the teen, and well below zero temps at night. Most people hate this kind of weather. I for one, love it!! For me the cold weather chases away the crowds, and brings the flowing waterfalls at Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks to a stand still. The cold quiet air is simply refreshing, and the sights of these wonderful waterfalls frozen into beautiful towers of ice are simply amazing. Winter in northern Illinois in my opinion is simply great.
Your images enable me to share your sense of wonder, Thomas, particularly the first two, each in its own way. Well done!
Thanks!!
Very Nice!
