Since last Friday, a small eruption has been going on in the South of Iceland, close to Reykjavik, the capital. It is (so far) small and harmless, but very photogenic. Located in a small valley, where you have hills all around to see the crater and the lavaflow very well.
I hiked to the eruption site yesterday with some friends and what a sight. Here is the first shot that I share here, but more are on the way.
