Different take on a classic. There's a mirroring effect which doesn't take away from Half Dome's majesty. Also it seems to be spot-lit as if to emphasise that. I like!
Thanks Chris! It actually was spot-lit; the sun was setting through some of the clouds and illuminated just half dome and the club above it... you don't get much luckier than that. :)
Awesome capture; love when skies and clouds come together to punctuate a subject.
If I were to suggest anything, it would be to tone down the cloud to even out the exposure, this would create a more even draw between the cloud and the mountain....
Great capture and what a moment! I would say, like Peter, even out the cloud and the mountain. Toning down the cloud may make it to dark, if so, maybe brighten up the mountain a bit to make them a little more balanced
