While meandering about Southern Colorado, I chanced upon this windmill, on the Open Range, just north of, Trinchera, Colorado. My first sight of the windmill was in the morning, with nothing of particular interest behind the blades but blue sky. I figured to stop by later that afternoon, and was rewarded with dramatic clouds. Well worth the wait.

Thank you, Mark. They are nothing close to your shots, but I do like the way they came out in B&W. In fact, they look much better in mono. I did suffer for my art though, the stock tanks at the base of the windmill were festering with mosquitos; I think they drew half my volume of blood before I left.
