Travelers & Photographers Don't trust sites like https://smokymountains.com/fall-foliage-map/ because for the last 4 years we've used the fall color chart & every year it's been wrong. Check Live view Webcams Nationwide & to see if there's color change in your area before leaving.
I've just checked a few webcams nationwide along our route and none of these webcams are showing any signs of fall colors. But view the fall perdition chart.. says that the fall colors have already started and in some areas (according to the chart) many of the colors area already past peak.. Not hardly..
So if you don't mind, check in here with your states fall colors. In other words, the chart is at least 1 week ahead. So plan you trips accordingly.
