Today I bring a series of 3 photographs from my outing last weekend. I decided to explore an area where I had already been but where I was sure I would find new magical corners. That's how it went!
The mist was low and drifted down the river as it flowed toward the sea.
I was really lucky that morning. All the factors had come together for me: there was an incredible light in the environment, an interesting moody mist over the river, the vegetation shined vibrant green and the water flow was powerful after days of intense rain.
It couldn't be better! I was at home!
As soon as I reached the river, my sight was fixed on this great stone. The water fell on it, creating a silk umbrella that powerfully captured my attention at a first sight.
I continued up the course of the river until I immediately saw the foam that was crowding the right bank of the river. It didn't seem to move to much but I knew the silk would swirl around the stones if I set the right exposure time.
I am totally in love with this photo, its mood, all those whirlwinds, all those spirals and the continuous movement that they represent.
I went further up the river and found those two twin waterfalls, roaring and powerful, projecting countless drops of water towards my face. I ended up like fresh out of the shower!
I think it was a profitable morning, what do you think?
