A view from the end of the classic "Chicken Corners" off-road route outside of Moab, UT. I arrived mid-day, so lighting was not optimal, but was still was a great location. I will have to return one day and camp out for the best conditions.
Even with the harsh light, I am still pleased with the image. This image is comprised of a five shot panorama at 70mm. I attempted a few other variations such as a wider panorama, but large ledges protruding into the frame made them less desirable.
Can't wait to get back out there when I have more time to work the scene!
Looking interesting, Peter! How to get down and closer to the water? I hope you have a map and you are used climbing around..
Think the only way to get down to the river from there is by falling off the edge and certain death! -- but seriously; rafting in would be the only practical way in.
