I did not think much of this image when I first reviewed it, but I did a few minor edits and posted it anyway...
For whatever reason it really seem to appeal to a lot of people! Tis the season I guess.

I really enjoy this image, Peter! It reminds me of the Abominable Snowman and sends me back to my childhood.
You did a great job balancing highlight and shadow as well as detail and smoothness. It looks almost like fake snow!
I am curious, did you try an edit where you cropped out the light pole on the right side and some of the negative space in the foreground? I am curious what it would look like if the tree were more of the frame.

I did try cropping out the light, was actually quite difficult to get the image to look correct with blending in the glow from the light. I actually liked the light included in the shot better than without; but many disagree on that point.
