During my recent trip to Kauai, I spent what evenings I could trying to capture one of those legendary Hawaiian sunsets. The skies had, as unusual, their own plans. Each night clouds blocked the horizon preventing the under-lighting of the clouds that create those wonderful colorful sunsets.
Though not what I was hoping for, I made the best I could of the conditions available and captured what I consider a very pleasing image. Even if it was not the dramatic scene that I wanted to captured, being there to witness it made the experience worth while.
