This was my first time trying anything like this. I was hoping for one of those incredible outer banks sunsets but it wasn't to be. I shot for about an hour and a half. Through golden hour, sunset, blue hour till dark. I never really got the colors I was hoping for. So, instead of settling for something kind of boring I tried my hand at making a "time lapse" photo. I don't know if that's the official name for it or not? I used several photos to get the light of the light house going around/stars. I used 1 sunset/golden hour shot to get what little colors in the sky there were as well as the nice golden light on the light house. I then tried blending them together the best I could in photoshop. My goal was to have a nice transition from light to dark with a few stars that showed up before I stopped shooting.
