Sitting above 9,400' in the Pioneer Mountains is a public shelter known as Pioneer Cabin. From this place you have the most spectacular view of the mountains. It's a pretty tough hike to the cabin, but so worth it!
I spent the night here capturing the scene from afternoon to dawn, and even through a spring storm.
