Hello,
I'm torn b/w these 3 edits. The first is more of a blue hour shot. The 2nd is more subtle than the 3rd as I blended in some of the last remnants of sunset into the pink clouds that showed up during blue hour. And the 3rd is admittedly maybe a little much. But there's also something about it that I kind of like. Which one is your preference?
Hey Kyle!
A simple and straight centered composition. It fits well for the angle and possible subject and clouds. Very good!
I am afraid you might not like my answer. None if them become a favorite. All three appear
to be oversaturated for me. The green, blue and red is too much, already artificial.
I am struggling on the subject: is it the building placed in the center? Or the shiny clouds at the sky? They are competing with each other. In case it's the building you want to show the 1st case. As the building appears slightly brighter than the rest.
Thanks for the honest feedback. I actually appreciate it. I can see people thinking the colors are over saturated. I may have over did it with the greens but the rest I kind of like. The clouds were really pink.
As far as the subject goes. I did a little cropping so there is more focus on the gazebo and I must say I like the result.
Here's an example of what I came up with. I toned down the blues and greens (probably still too much for some people lol) and cropped in on the gazebo. I like this better than the original. I may have to paint out that puddle!
Thanks again. And nice portfolio by the way!
Ciao Kyle!
Thank you for your reply! The last version us more clear what you want to say! The crop helps a lot. You like the saturation of colors, for me it is too much. let's push it to the 'personal taste' section. Not worth to argue about.
haha, exactly! No worries at all.
